Purbanchal University Faculty of Medical Sciences (PUFOMS) is proud to announce that the Department of Pharmacy, Purbanchal University School of Health Sciences (PUSHS) has been awarded a significant research grant of NPR 6,000,000 (Six Million Nepalese Rupees) from the University Grants Commission (UGC), Nepal, on 2082 Ashadh 24 (July 8, 2025).
This grant has been awarded under the Scientific Research Laboratory (SRL) Grant Scheme for the development of a state-of-the-art Medicinal Chemistry/Pharmacognosy/Pharmaceutical Analysis Laboratory within the Department of Pharmacy, PUSHS.
The new laboratory will play a vital role in enhancing the practical learning environment for pharmacy students, promoting cutting-edge pharmaceutical research, and advancing drug analysis and phytochemical studies. The laboratory will also support collaborative research initiatives, enabling students and faculty to contribute to national and global pharmaceutical advancements.
